Mark entered the financial services business in 1991 with Northwestern Mutual while attending Michigan State University as a college agent intern.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Administration.  He moved back to the Chicago area in September 1993 and started working at Richard E. Friese Financial Consulting Service, Inc., where he benefited greatly from his father's long time experience in the Life Insurance industry.

Mark has his certification from the College of Financial Planning and was a NFLPA Registered Financial Advisor from 2014-2017. He is a member of numerous networking groups and organizations, including Million Dollar Round Table and has been the recipient of many industry awards throughout the years.

Mark is very focused on helping clients reach their financial goals by providing personalized, knowledgeable advice in many insurance and investment products. Mark and his wife Heather currently live in Libertyville, IL and have three wonderful children, Hayden, Hunter and Hollis.  His current hobbies include water skiing, golf, bird hunting, fishing, hiking and snowshoeing.

Margaret is the Vice President of Operations. She has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. She prides herself on developing strong customer relationships as well as maintaining professional relationships with various outside vendors including third-party money managers, broker dealers, and clearinghouses. She is responsible for compliance, staff training, and opening all new accounts.

She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially with her husband Mark and labradoodle Gracie, and of course, rooting for her hometown Buffalo Bills.

Angie has enjoyed assisting clients in the insurance and annuity industry for more than 12 years and has been dedicated to serving in customer service roles for 25 years. She is part of the Friese Financial Advocates, Inc. support team and is committed to providing exceptional service to our clients.

Angie and her husband Dave have 5 children and 17 grandchildren. She loves spending time with family and friends. Her interests are traveling, hiking, cooking, gardening and spoiling her grandkids!

Originally from Buffalo Grove, Mike is a graduate of the University of Iowa (B.A. Economics). Mike holds Series 7 and 65 registrations and is life insurance licensed.

Mike and his wife Liz currently reside in Arlington Heights with their two sons. Mike enjoys reading, traveling, playing golf and watching his kids play sports.

Jon has worked in the financial services industry since 2018 as a second career after teaching high school history and economics. Jon earned his CFP® as well as being a Global Financial Planning Fellow (USA). He enjoys working with clients holistically with their financial plans and helping them live their dreams.

Jon lives in Lake Zurich, IL, with his family (wife Lindsey, and two sons Luke and Caleb). He is a member of The Orchard Evangelical Free Church in Barrington, IL, actively continues improving his German so that he can better follow his favorite soccer team, Bayern Munich, and is always planning his next trip overseas.

Jay’s role with Friese Financial Advocates is working with the agency helping as it relates to financial products and agency development. Jay grew up and still resides in the Cincinnati, Ohio area where he graduated with a degree in Political Science from Miami University in 1989.

After graduating from Miami Jay started his career in the financial service industry, obtaining a Series 7, 63, 65 and 24 securities licenses. While progressing through his career Jay had the opportunity to develop his knowledge in financial products holding positions as a mutual fund research analyst, he has been part of multiple corporate investment committees, worked with industry leading financial service representatives in a business development capacity and case design.

The favorite part of his long career in the financial services industry has been the opportunity to work with dedicated individuals in a team environment who are committed to excellence and the success of their clients.

Lynn is the newest team member to join the FFA Team. Lynn brings over 25 years of experience working in the financial industry. Lynn currently holds her Series 6, 7, 63, 66, and 24 Licenses and is registered in an administrative capacity with Ameritas Investment Company, LLC (AIC), Member FINRA/SIPC, LLC. and Ameritas Advisory Services (AAS). Lynn takes pride in providing top-notch customer service and going the extra mile to help our clients.

Lynn is a remote employee, living on Sand Lake in northern Wisconsin. In the summer you can find Lynn enjoying time out on the lake and during winter you can find her out on the snowmobile trails. Lynn and her husband Todd also love to travel whenever they get a chance. They also spend time volunteering with their snowmobile club and at horse shows.

Lynn’s family includes Todd, their son Ben and his fiancé Melody, and her 4-legged child, Stella the Wonder Horse.
